Kalachandi Utsav : |
Kalahandi Utsav is a platform to encourage, motivate and show case the art, culture, music, drama, literature, handy crafts and to place the strength globally. The Utsav starts from the first day of Makar Shrankanti and continues for four days at district head quarter Bhawanipatna and Sub-division Dharamgarh simultaniously. Artists from kalahandi as well as across India are encouraged to participate in this Kalahandi Utsav.
Kalahandi Utsav 2011 is going to be held from 14th to 16th of January 2011 where the audience will get the taste of Ghumura and varieties of folk dances from kalahandi as well as other part of the country.
